The first three terms of the sequence -4 ; p ; q ; 50 from an arithmetic progression and the last three terms from a geometric progression .Determine the value (s) of p and q

For geometric progressions the key is that there is a number that you can multiply each number by to get the next one. So goal is to find number you can multiply number on left by to get p and then multiply p with some number to get q and then with q to get number on right.
